Choices....Tatra or Bristol?
Bristol.
Have a 603.
Made from 1976 to an unknown date in the late 2000s (if you include the Britannia, Brigand and Blenheim, all called after WW2 Bristol aircraft), the 603 had the usual Bristol features of a very large Chrysler V8, an automatic box, lots of walnut inside and if you squint very carefully you’ll notice extra shut lines just behind the front wheel. Why? Because spare wheel.
Bristol began as an offshoot of the eponymous aircraft company and were hived off and bought by the somewhat eccentric Tony Crook who might deign to sell you a car from his posh showroom in London if he liked the cut of your jib. Production numbers were not disclosed but were modest.
A car intended for a very particular type of customer who found everything else not quite satisfactory.

Didn’t you forget to list the 1930s BMW derived chassis as a trademark feature of Bristols?

Wasn’t the same compartment but on the other side (driver’s side) for the battery?
I heard a story once about a specialist in older cars receiving an urgent request for a Bristol, any model or year as long as it was a runner... because Switzerland and customs.
He never knew what went in the spare wheel compartment (and for obvious reasons did not ask).
